The 20-Minute Weekly Social Review

Most small business owners either skip social analytics entirely or spend hours in spreadsheets that don't tell them anything actionable. There's a better way.

This 20-minute weekly review is what we recommend to every new MLive customer in their first month.

Minutes 1-5: What performed last week

Look at your top 3 posts by engagement rate (not total likes). Note the format, topic, and time posted. These are your signal.

Minutes 6-10: What didn't work

Look at your bottom 3 posts. Were they a different format? A different time? Did they ask for something (a click, a visit) while the top posts gave something (value, entertainment, education)?

Minutes 11-15: The one action item

Based on what performed, pick ONE change to make this week. Post at the time your top post was published. Repeat the format of your best-performing post. Test the topic that got the most saves.

One change, tracked cleanly, is worth more than five changes tracked sloppily.

Minutes 16-20: Set up next week

Schedule three posts based on what you learned. Not ten. Three, with intention.

Done.
